American Speckle Park Association News
The American Speckle Park Association began as a conversation among 3 growers in January of 2020. As we explored this new venture, we had several goals in mind. First and foremost, we wanted to ensure the integrity of the breed that Bill and Eileen Lamont started so many years ago in 1962; a breed that has superior carcass qualities while also maintaining great maternal and easy keeping characteristics that have been very adaptable to a wide range of climate conditions. Second, we wanted to build an organization that will help the breed to grow and to become a staple in feedlots across this great nation. The last goal was to maintain our standards as such so we would be recognized by our fellow associations across the globe.
